Junebug & Darlin was born from a passion for crafting and a desire to create something meaningful and inclusive. In 2016, after moving to a small town in Oregon, Zoe found herself ready for a new adventure. With limited work opportunities in her new home and a resurgence of at-home crafting sweeping the nation, Zoe decided to give cross-stitching a try. Frustrated by the lack of patterns that resonated with her, she created her own—and thus, Junebug & Darlin was born.

Zoe knew from the start that staying true to herself was key. As a queer femme, she wanted her work to reflect her identity and the diverse communities she is a part of. She began designing cross-stitch patterns and kits that were all about inclusivity, modernity, and subversion. By 2017, her kits were being sold in arts and crafts stores across the country, helping her reach a wider community of makers.

Today, Junebug & Darlin is on a mission to empower creativity and self-expression through the art of cross stitch. We believe in the beauty of handmade, the joy of color, and the importance of crafting something uniquely your own.
