This is an original illustration printed on real wood veneer, which feels good in the hand and catches the eye with subtle textures, warm colors, and patterns of light.

Each piece of wood gives the design a unique character; the complexity of the grain brings the art to life. Wood veneer is very sturdy and flexible so it holds up to the test of time – beautiful & practical – worth framing.

About Little Gold Fox Designs

With my work I try to highlight the magic of the natural world and our relationship with it. I love the juxtaposition between old and new, between wild and cultivated. I feel like there's a powerful alchemy that can happen at this juncture between worlds and that's where I focus my design. Inspired by folk art traditions, but with a fresh modern perspective.

My designs are printed on sustainably-harvested wood or recycled paper, and made into cards, bookmarks, jewelry, stickers, and art prints with eco-friendly packaging.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, in beautiful Portland Oregon. My work has been featured in Uppercase Magazine, Artsy Shark, Sage Woman Magazine, KGW-TV, KOIN 6 News, Art of the Heart 2018 calendar, and DIY Temporary Tattoos: Draw It, Print It, Ink It by Pepper Baldwin.
