These heirloom "Florida Cranberries" are finicky but well worth the growing journey as they are wonderful for making zingy tea, sauces and jam. The tart flower calyxes high in Vitamin C have been used in herbal medicine for years.

Instructions: To speed germination soak seeds in warm water overnight or abrade them lightly with sandpaper. Plant seeds 4 to 8 weeks before the end of frost. Transplant outside - careful not to disturb the roots - one week after last frost date. Direct sow outside when soil warms to 75° F. Keep moist until germination but not wet.
